Sewing has been a skill handed down through the generations from mother to daughter to granddaughter and so on. It was even once taught in school as part of the standard curriculum. Through the years technology improved and fewer people found time to learn how to use the new tools. It became easier and even cost effective to purchase items at many of the chain department stores. Items became mass produced to meet the demand and before long sentiment and uniqueness was lost.

It was our constant search for something unique and different, our love of dolls, our love of our children and our passion for sewing that led us to sharing our creations on the web.
